Plan a 1936 campaign one month at a time

Europe at War is a turn-based strategy game played across a 1936 map of Europe. The source lists 15 playable nations, 369 regions and three approaches to victory: military, diplomatic or economic.

Choose a nation, manage troops and relations, and work toward a victory path over monthly turns. War must be declared through diplomacy before attacking, so expansion depends on preparation as well as battlefield strength.

Start with a clear plan

• Review diplomacy before moving troops so a planned attack is legally available on the turn.
• Protect the economy behind the front line; territory alone is not the only route to victory.
