The Fun8 site does not load optional WGPlayground game frames before you make a choice. Rejecting optional content does not prevent you from browsing game listings, source information or editorial pages.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can remember information on your device. Privacy rules can apply to both. We use the term “storage” below to cover cookies, local storage and similar technologies.
2. Storage used directly by Fun8 Games
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
fun8-consent-v1 | Records whether publisher content is allowed. | Necessary local storage | Up to 180 days |
fun8-favorites | Remembers games you explicitly favorite. | Requested preference | Until removed |
fun8-recents | Shows your recently played games on this device. | Requested preference | Until removed |
These values are not account identifiers and are not sent to Fun8 Games as a user profile. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
3. Publisher-game storage
Publisher games are optional embedded content. If you allow publisher content and press Play, the named provider may use cookies, local storage, pixels, advertising identifiers or similar technologies for game delivery, progress, fraud prevention, audience measurement, advertising and service development.
The current catalog uses WGPlayground game frames. Its vendor list, advertising partners, exact cookie names and retention periods can change independently of Fun8 Games. Review the information and consent controls shown inside the WGPlayground experience before continuing.
4. How consent works
On your first visit, publisher content is off. “Reject optional” keeps it off. “Accept all” allows it. “Manage choices” lets you make the same choice in a settings panel. The choice is saved locally and can be changed at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer or the button above.
If you withdraw permission while a publisher game is open, Fun8 Games unloads its frame. Removing consent prevents new third-party game frames from loading, but it cannot delete storage already placed by another provider. Use your browser controls or the provider’s own privacy controls for that.
5. Browser controls and global signals
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking all storage may reset favorites and privacy choices or prevent some games from working. Fun8 Games does not currently use its own behavioral advertising or sale/sharing system, so there is no separate site-level advertising profile to opt out of. Third-party providers are responsible for honoring applicable browser signals and regional rights within their services.
6. Changes and contact
We review this policy when storage behavior or providers change. If a change materially affects your choice, we may ask for consent again. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
